In a slightly bohemian atmosphere, everyone found competent advice and, above all, a welcoming smile. In via San Bernardino 22, where the “La cornice di Nespoli” sign has stood for 50 years, the premises are now empty, but at 50 meters the story continues thanks to Giulio Lagetto, who has collected and handed down knowledge and passion.
“Giulio is the son my father has always wanted”, says Denise Nespoli, who speaks with the smile of that father, “anarchist but so Christian in his being close to the least”, who closed his eyes at 79 on Saturday evening and who tomorrow, at 3.30 pm at the Monumentale, he will be greeted with a civil ceremony.
