Until this year I was a loyal customer of VHV Versicherung. However, due to the poor customer service I had to experience due to an accident with my private car, I immediately canceled my insurance and am now with another insurance company.

However, I would like to share my experiences and my disappointment with the service of VHV with the public in order to give future customers of VHV Versicherung an early warning.

The reason for my insurance change was an accident that happened to me recently on my way on vacation. Since I had decided on the Klassik-Garant Exklusiv package at the time, I assumed that I was perfectly covered. But this was a fatal error. Shortly after the accident, I contacted VHV customer service and at first everything seemed to be working fine. But then I had to wait several hours for the breakdown service. During this time, I tried calling customer service several times, but sometimes I couldn’t reach anyone. The towing service only arrived after 4 hours of waiting, really an unreasonable service in such a situation.

As a result, I had serious problems getting my car repair costs back. Until I finally made the decision to change my insurance, because the service and performance of VHV are really bad. Unfortunately, you only notice this when you are in an emergency situation.
