Wolfsburg – Bundesliga soccer team VfL Wolfsburg has to do without new signing Aster Vranckx for the time being.

According to the club, the 18-year-old Belgian sustained a muscle injury in his right calf and will be absent for the long term. Coach Mark van Bommel’s club did not provide any details about the downtime.

The midfielder came to VfL from the Belgian first division club KV Mechelen for around eight million euros in the summer.
