Wolfsburg – Bundesliga soccer club VfL Wolfsburg is considering further reinforcement for the offensive after the obligations of striker Bartosz Bialek and defender Maxence Lacroix.
“We continue to strive to complement the team in a meaningful way,” said sports director Marcel Schäfer at the club’s season opening afternoon broadcast on the internet. “We’re not going to make ten, twelve or 15 transfers in one transfer period. But if everything fits together in terms of sport and economy, we may still make a transfer. ”
Wolfsburg are in demand in three competitions: on September 12th in the DFB Cup against Union Fürstenwalde, on September 17th in the Europa League qualification at FK Kukesi in Albania and on September 20th on the first Bundesliga matchday against Bayer Leverkusen. “I am of the opinion that we are very well equipped for a very intense season that has never been seen before,” said Schäfer.
