VfL Potsdam with a home game to start

Potsdam. Handball fans of 1. VfL Potsdam: Get out your calendar: The schedule for the 2022/23 second division season was released by the Handball Bundesliga (HBL) on Tuesday. The Adler around coach Bob Hanning will start on September 3 (19:00) with a home game in the MBS Arena against the SG BBM Bietigheim around coach Iker Romero. Romero was active with the Foxes from 2011 to 2015, so Hanning and the 200-time Spain international are not seeing each other for the first time.

The first away match brings VfL a week later against promoted team HSG Konstanz. Two highlights await the Potsdam crowd before the end of the year: On December 3, the Ukrainian first division club HC Motor Zaporizhzhia, who can play in the German lower house due to the war, will be guests. On Christmas Day (December 26), the ThSV Eisenach hands over its business card. On the last match day (June 7, 2023), Adler will welcome Bundesliga relegated TuS N-Lübbecke.
