VfL Osnabrück: Marco Grote new coach – two-year contract – 2nd Bundesliga

Marco Grote (47) succeeds Daniel Thioune (46) at VfL Osnabrück.

Grote receives a two-year contract with the Lower Saxony, as the association announced. The “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” had previously reported on the agreement. Grote had trained the Werder Bremen U19s until the summer. For the Bremen native, VfL is the first stop as head coach in professional football.

Thioune had left Osnabrück after last season and is now a coach at Hamburger SV.
