Despite the transfer of Deniz Undav, VfB Stuttgart wants to sign a second striker – according to Fabrizio Romano, the Swabians seem to have found him.
El Bilal Toure, a Europa League winner from Atalanta Bergamo, is set to join the runners-up – who are apparently prepared to spend 18 million euros on the Malian international. He is set to receive a five-year contract in Stuttgart.
Despite the high price, it would be a good deal for the Swabians; last summer, Atalanta paid 29 million euros for Toure.
The 22-year-old was unable to establish himself at the Leverkusen conqueror of the Europa League due to a persistent thigh injury.
Final steps still need to be clarified, but there is said to already be a verbal commitment.

It is well known that FC Bayern would have liked to sign Xavi Simons this summer. But the Dutch international ultimately decided to go on loan to RB Leipzig again.

Brajan Gruda is moving to the Premier League. The 20-year-old is leaving 1. FSV Mainz 05 and is now joining Brighton after six years with the Rhineland-Palatinate club. The coveted prodigy has signed a contract there until 2028.
According to consistent media reports, the clubs agreed on a record transfer fee of 30 million euros. This is therefore the most expensive departure in the club’s history to date.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Brajan. I saw what a huge influence he had in the Bundesliga last season. He is a player I admire greatly,” revealed Seagulls coach Fabian Hürzeler.
Last season, Gruda made his breakthrough in the German top flight. The right winger played 28 league games and scored four goals. He also provided three assists.
His first appearance for the senior national team should only be a matter of time, as the Speyer native was already nominated by national coach Julian Nagelsmann for the training camp before the European Championships at home.

The update that all VfB fans have been waiting for. The Stuttgart team has apparently finally agreed with Brighton & Hove Albion on a permanent transfer for Deniz Undav. As “kicker” reports, the Swabians are prepared to take a financial risk for their dream striker.
A transfer fee of around 27 million euros is on the table, and bonus payments could even push the sum above the 30 million mark. Including the impressive salary of the national striker, who is expected to sign until at least 2027, the total package could cost up to 50 million euros.
There are only a few minor issues standing in the way of the transfer. But it looks as though Brighton, Undav and VfB will finally come together after much back and forth.
