Breathe a sigh of relief at VfB!
Goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow (28) and captain Waldemar Anton (27) got fit in time for VfB Stuttgart’s home game against Cologne on Saturday (3:30 p.m./Sky). Both completed the session on Friday morning in full. Maximilian Mittelstädt (26) probably won’t be able to make it into the starting eleven as he wasn’t fully present in the final training session.
As BILD learned, coach Sebastian Hoeneß (41) relied on Hiroki Ito (24) at the back left during the training session. And will also use the Japanese there against Cologne.

Bredlow, who had to miss training on Thursday due to an upset stomach, is back. This means that young Dennis Seimen (18) will take a seat on the bench, as he did against Mainz (3:1) and in Darmstadt (2:1). It is also important for the Hoeneß team that defense chief Anton is back after his back problems.
Next to him, Anthony Rouault (22) will probably defend in the middle of the defense. The Frenchman will wear a mask for the first time after breaking his nose.
