Will Julian Nagelsmann move from RB Leipzig to Bayern Munich? VfB coach Pellegrino Matarazzo trusts his former roommate to do everything.
Leipzig / Stuttgart – Change Julian Nagelsmann (33) from RB Leipzig to the FC Bayern Munich? VfB coach Pellegrino Matarazzo (43) trusts his former roommate to do everything.

When the Leipzigers receive VfB Stuttgart on Sunday (3:30 p.m.), two coaches who have known each other for a long time will meet again. Because just two years ago, Matarazzo assisted his next opponent Nagelsmann as an assistant coach at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Matarazzo is now a VfB coach himself and meets his former boss on an equal footing.
He now trusts this to be the big hit, namely the job at FC Bayern Munich: “Of course I trust him. Why shouldn’t he? Despite his young age, he is an excellent coach who has already shown that he can put his stamp on nationally and internationally. ”
Ever since FCB coach Hansi Flick (56) made public that he asked the club for clearance, rumors have persisted that Nagelsmann is the top candidate for his successor.
The current RB Leipzig trainer himself vehemently defends himself against this idea and also denies having had talks with Bayern.

Have Matarazzo and Nagelsmann even exchanged views on the Bayern issue?
The VfB coach did not confirm that. However, he revealed that they already had contact this week.
They would text each other more often, said Matarazzo. Sometimes it is about “content issues”, but sometimes it is also a simple “how is the family?”
The VfB coach also did not want to rule out the possibility that a few poison arrows would fly back and forth via messenger between Leipzig and Stuttgart in the run-up to the game next Sunday.
Nagelsmann and Matarazzo know each other well. The two have already done the soccer teacher together and were even roommates.
