Veterans CCP Games, Blizzard and Remedy have announced Pax Dei, a no-NPC MMORPG built around social interactions.

Independent studio Mainframe Industries has officially announced an MMORPG called Pax Dei. The same cloud title that was supposed to become an exclusive platform for Microsoft.

Action Pax Dei takes place in a fantasy world inspired by the Middle Ages and various myths of the time. Players will face both familiar things and magic, ghosts and various monsters.


Key difference Pax Dei from any other MMORPG – a great emphasis on social interactions between players. There are no NPCs in this game, so you will have to come up with your own activities and roles. You can build houses and settlements, establish trade relations, build governments and much more.

Pax Dei developed for three years on the Unreal Engine 5. Mainframe Industries has about 70 employees, including veterans of CCP Games (EVE Online). Blizzard, Remedy, Ubisoft and Rovio.

The release of the MMORPG is planned for PC, but then it will be allowed to run on consoles and mobile devices via the cloud. You can sign up for Alpha. link.
