Report from our Beijing News Center reporter Li Zhensheng

The Guangzhou Maritime Safety Administration stated that due to the maintenance work of the Lixinsha Bridge, in order to ensure the safety of water traffic for ships, temporary water traffic control will be implemented on the Hongqili Waterway until further notice.

The controlled waters include the Hongqi Lek Channel and the waters within 500 meters upstream and downstream of the Lek Sin Sha Bridge.

Except for official ships and maintenance ships, other ships are prohibited from sailing through controlled waters, and ships are called on to choose appropriate waters to detour in advance.
