One of the most popular stars of “The Farm” – Veselka Marinova, the first female winner in the history of the show, which will soon return to the airwaves, experienced a huge and inspiring change.
The mother of many children from the village of Borima turned her personal life upside down, left behind the hardships and hard physical labor, changed her profession and built a new home. “It takes a lot of courage to make such a transition. I grew both emotionally and as a person,” admits Veselka in the midst of summer, just before the long-awaited new season of “The Farm”, which will start under the motto “The Bridge of Time” with new trials and interesting participants.
The change for Veselka began a year ago after she broke up with her husband. Four months ago, she found the strength to leave the village of Borima, where she took care of horses and made a living by logging. She moved to Troyan with her three children and started creative work – now she makes souvenirs and jewelry. Meanwhile, she also discovered love.
“I have a new man by my side. But I don’t want to tell more because I’ve suffered from gossip in the media. My ex-husband and I managed to maintain a good relationship, even now we understand each other better than before. We also help each other with care for the children, and financially,” she says. Veselka does not blame anyone for her difficult past and the poverty that forced her to work since she was 14. “As much as a person is destined to suffer, he will suffer. But at some point fate will tell him: “Enough is enough, here’s something good!”, she tells Woman.bg with hope and wisdom.
