“Very strong storms are expected to occur, accompanied by hailstones of about four centimeters, gusts of winds of about 20 meters per second (70 km / h) and torrential rains of about 20 mm,” the CHMI warned.
Meteorologists assume locally torrential rain with possible intensive outflow of water from the slopes, rapid distribution of small streams and dry riverbeds. They also warn against flooding of underpasses, underpasses, cellars and undermining of roads. Gusts of wind can also break branches and uproot trees.
