/ world today news/ The United States showed Great Britain that it does not approve of London’s policy in Ukraine by choosing the most painful form for the British. Considering the fact that in the past both Anglo-Saxon countries have fought each other more than once and done all sorts of unpleasant things on a mutual basis, it is safe to say that a new conflict is brewing between them. This time because of Russia and Ukraine.
No one seems to have noticed this yet. And if they have noticed, they are silent. For what? About the real meaning of US President Joe Biden’s refusal to attend the coronation of Charles III, King of the United Kingdom and 14 Commonwealth countries, on May 6, 2023 in London.
The fact that Biden, who was, of course, invited, will not come to a pompous ceremony in Westminster Abbey (along with the new monarch, his wife Camilla will be crowned as Queen Consort), reported the well-informed Daily Telegraph newspaper.
Although this rare and extremely important event for Britain will be attended by two thousand invited leaders of Belgium, Ireland, Spain, France, Japan, the entire leadership of the European Union…
Perhaps the first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, will appear in London and head the American “delegation”. It is an understatement to say that the news shocked the British.
“It seems pretty casual and I’m tempted to say more about him because he’s not planning to come,” British Conservative MP Bob Seeley was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph.
Such events, he recalled, happen “once in a lifetime”. As the reason for Biden’s neglect of the coronation of the king and queen of Great Britain, the newspaper alludes to the known health problems of the American president and the fact that he allegedly has difficulty traveling abroad due to his age, although Biden even recently made it to Kiev.
What do they explain?
Where’s the catch here? Oh, there are many tricks here, although on the surface everything fits perfectly, and there is even a claim to an insider: the health of Biden, who is stricken with senile dementia, is even worse than they think. He is now almost unable to perform presidential duties and will not come, probably because he will definitely start acting strangely in England, and this may overshadow the coronation itself.
And then Republicans would probably start pushing for the implementation of the 25th amendment to the constitution, which provides for early termination of presidential powers for health reasons.
Well, an 80-year-old Biden, for example, would start speaking in front of cameras during a visit to England, and something similar to what happened in late March at the White House Arts and Humanities Awards ceremony could happen to him . When he got confused, he deviated from the text, then declared to the audience, bursting with laughter:
“Sorry, let me start over. I feel uncomfortable being here”.
Or as it happened to him recently, when the President of the United States, commenting with a silly smile on the bloody shooting incident in Nashville, Tennessee, suddenly declared to the audience:
“My name is Joe Biden, I’m the husband of Dr. Jill Biden, and I had chocolate chip ice cream. I came here because I heard there was going to be chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a full fridge on the top floor. You think I’m kidding? That’s wrong.”
Or maybe he will remember in front of a respectable audience that, as an American with Irish roots, he does not like the British, or he will ask for a personal meeting with Elizabeth II …
Strange, but….
A convincing explanation for why Biden will not come to London on May 6? Yes, of course, but only at first glance. Because Biden, although he really does not understand what he is talking about, actively travels the world, and everyone has long been accustomed to his many mistakes.
For example, on April 11 – very soon – the US president is expected in Belfast to attend events marking the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Belfast Agreement (Good Friday Agreement), which ended the long-standing armed conflict between Protestant Unionists and Catholic Nationalists in Northern Ireland.
From April 12 to 15, Catholic Biden will be in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. And already on May 19-21, 2023, the nominal owner of the White House will play tricks at the G-7 meeting in Hiroshima, far away Japan. He will speak there, visit enterprises – an extensive program has already been prepared.
So, as we can see, Biden, despite the problem with the stairs, is an avid traveler. And what did it cost him in this case to peep into London for the most important event for Britain, which happens “once in a lifetime”?
With this self-evident question in mind, The Daily Telegraph writes of Biden’s “strong relationship” with Charles III, of the “cordial and diplomatic” (?) negotiations with the White House over the composition of the American delegation for the coronation. Even for possible dissatisfaction with the exit of Great Britain from the EU.
They say here that Biden will only spend one day in Belfast and three in Dublin, although I think this is a deliberate attempt to divert the attention of more careful observers from the real reason for the insult.
From the same operetta is the “explanation” of Tobias Ellwood, chairman of the defense committee of the Conservative House of Commons: visiting the coronation of the British monarch is traditionally not a mandatory event for the US president. In this regard, according to him, “we should not talk too much about the absence” of Biden at the coronation.
Like a cat with a dog
Why “shouldn’t”? You should rather! Because it seems that relations between the United States and Great Britain are not at all as cloudless as many think. Remember that these Anglo-Saxon countries have fought each other twice in history, almost gone to war several more times, and how many times they have done all kinds of nasty things to each other, you can’t even count.
The years 1775-1784 saw the American War of Independence, in which the British were marked by terrible atrocities. In 1812-1815, the Anglo-American War took place, during which the British burned down the residence of the President of the United States in Washington. After restoration and repainting, it became known as the White House. This conflict in the United States is called the Second Revolutionary War.
In the American Civil War (1861-1865), the British actively helped the slave-owning Southerners and did not openly side with them against the Northerners only thanks to Russia, which sent two of its squadrons to the United States.
Since 1922, the United States has nurtured Adolf Hitler to start World War II (the Americans also prepared Japan for it by trading with it and endorsing its aggression in China, as well as the USSR by ensuring our industrialization), to subjugate Europe, eliminate its empires, above all the British, to rise and, weakening the competitors, to establish dominance over the world.
This was primarily a revenge of London, which in 1929 closed its empire (25% of the world market) to the United States, which provoked the Great Depression, which hit everyone hard, including Americans.
Then it almost came to fighting between the Royal Navy and the American Navy. With the beginning of the war, which enriched the United States beyond words, the British already begged the old destroyers from the Americans, paying for them with their colonies.
The colonial rivalry between London and Washington did not end immediately after 1945, with the decline of the British Empire. In 1956-1957, during the Suez Crisis, the US, along with… the USSR, opposed the successfully launched Anglo-French-Israeli intervention in Egypt because they were against “British colonialism”, hoping to replace it with his own.
We can also recall 1992, when the American businessman George Soros “hacked”, “brought to his knees” the Bank of England, “destroyed the monetary system” of Great Britain, winning, playing against the pound, about a billion and a half old dollars. One can also recall the “offshore wars” and many others.
Militant speech in Berlin
If this was the case in the past, then what could cause a crisis in US-UK relations in the present? Most likely Ukraine.
With a lesser degree of probability plus China, from whom, as with their main competitor, the Americans demand to cut off all their allies and vassals who have close trade relations with the Chinese.
I don’t have any facts about the latter, but there is confirmation about Ukraine, where Great Britain pursues a more rigid Russophobic policy than the United States. Yes, what else! It is guaranteed by the British monarch himself.
At the end of March, Charles III visited Germany, where, in particular, he spoke in the Bundestag, giving half of his speech in German (the Windsors are usually Germans in disguise). He became the first British monarch to speak in the German parliament.
Charles III spoke first of all about the conflict in Ukraine, which resulted in “the unimaginable suffering of so many innocent people, so many lives were lost, and freedom and dignity were cruelly trampled upon.”
“The security of Europe and our democratic values are at stake. But the world did not sit idly by, we are deeply shocked by the destruction, but encouraged by our unity when it comes to restoring peace and freedom in Ukraine,” said the British king, according to TASS.
Charles III, of course, did not say who actually organized and prepared this conflict and for what purposes, which state, or rather the kingdom, was primarily operationally responsible for it.
All in all, it was a very bellicose speech:
“The United Kingdom and Germany took an important role as leaders, the main European donors to Ukraine, we gave money and took decisions that seemed impossible a while ago.”
He praised Berlin for the “very important” decision to provide military aid to Kiev, noted that British and German pilots were carrying out joint missions in the skies of allied countries, and a German-British battalion based near Berlin was jointly trained to fly amphibious are used to build bridges…
That is, they are preparing to fight in Ukraine. In Kiev, they are 100% satisfied with the support of London, the USA – only half, Germany – even less.
The most daring Ukrainian operations were planned by the British. London wants the war to escalate, while the US, whose main enemy is China, does not seem to share this extremism. They would settle for an “indecent peace” in order to move quickly towards the PRC.
And so it turns out that because of its ambitions in Eastern Europe, London, which is most interested in maintaining mutually beneficial relations with China, is disrupting the global American game. It can also play too hard and expose not only itself to a Russian nuclear strike. London must therefore be warned not to go too far, which Washington is doing before our eyes.
What of this?
In 1953, the 34th President of the United States, Dwight Eisenhower, missed the coronation of Elizabeth II. Unlike Biden, the former Supreme Allied Commander in Europe was of sound mind and fitness. But he still didn’t come. Why?
Because between the USA and Great Britain the contradictions that emerged during the Suez crisis were growing. Then, we repeat, Washington acted in concert with Moscow, which threatened London, Paris and Tel Aviv with the use of nuclear weapons to seize foreign territory and the Suez Canal, nationalized by the Egyptians, without warm feelings towards Russia and aware of its own interests.
It seems that history may soon repeat itself, but with Ukraine instead of Egypt, and this new chapter in US-British conflicts is almost written. Kiev’s sponsors make amends with each other, until Germany will not be able to replace Britain with the USA: the intestines are thin.
For the Nazis and terrorists in Ukraine, this is of course not very good news. And for us, accordingly, on the contrary. Dissensions have begun in the camp of the Westerners – this must be used. The less Ukraine remains, the better it will be for Russia and no “indecent peace”.
