8:35 am: several accidents reported in Côte-d’Or
If it is still premature to make the link with traffic and weather conditions, several accidents are currently reported on the highways and roads of the department.
Two damaged vehicles on highway
On the motorway network, two damaged vehicles were able to reach the emergency lanes after accidents at Agencourt (A31, towards Dijon) and Bessey-en-Chaume (A6 towards Beaune). The firefighters of Beaune and Pouilly-en-Auxois are currently on site for this second accident while those of Seurre and Gevrey are working on the first.
Extrication to Saint-Aubin
Also on the departmental network, several road exits are indicated. The most serious accident occurred around 8 am on the D906 between Saint-Aubin and La Rochepot. Extrication is in progress. The firefighters of Nolay, Beaune and Meursault are mobilized.
In Pluvault, rue de la Forge, an accident involving a single vehicle occurred around 8:30 am. The firefighters of Genlis, Auxonne and Saint-Jean-de-Losne are on site.
Finally, on the D903, leaving Is-sur-Tille in the direction of Dijon, a vehicle has finished its course … on the rail separating the tracks. The gendarmes are on site and caution is required if you take this axis.

8 hours: no notable improvement on the departmental network
At 8 am, the traffic conditions remain very complex in a large part of the Côte-d’Or. The most significant difficulties are always noted in the East, in the sectors around Bèze, Fontaine-Française or Montigny-Mornay-Villeneuve-sur-Vingeanne.
However, this works out on the main axes leading to Châtillon-sur-Seine.

7 am: Be very careful on the roads!
This Monday morning, the traffic conditions are considered delicate on the departmental network of Côte-d’Or due to the presence of snow and / or ice on the roadways. Due to the snow, traffic is even ” very difficult ” ‘in the areas around Bèze, Fontaine-Française or Montigny-Mornay-Villeneuve-sur-Vingeanne.

Salting and snow removal operations are underway. Motorists are asked to exercise caution and give priority to winter service vehicles.

6:57 am: the Côte-d’Or in yellow snow and ice vigilance
Activated on Sunday, Météo France’s vigilance should still concern the department for a large part of the day on Monday.
What weather this Monday?
In the next few hours, sleet or even flakes could fall again during the morning and whiten the soils to the plain, with a mercury which should not exceed 0 degrees. Then, it is a regime of showers, with showers, which is expected during the day with 4 degrees near the maximum.
Sunday evening, snow made its appearance on the Côte-d’Or, especially in Dijon where large flakes were visible around 10 p.m. At the end of the evening, salting operations were carried out in the sectors of Châtillon-sur-Seine, Recey-sur-Ource, Grancey-le-Château but also Beaune and Nolay.
