8:35 am: several accidents reported in Côte-d’Or

Two damaged vehicles on highway

On the motorway network, two damaged vehicles were able to reach the emergency lanes after accidents at Agencourt (A31, towards Dijon) and Bessey-en-Chaume (A6 towards Beaune). The firefighters of Beaune and Pouilly-en-Auxois are currently on site for this second accident while those of Seurre and Gevrey are working on the first.

Extrication to Saint-Aubin

Also on the departmental network, several road exits are indicated. The most serious accident occurred around 8 am on the D906 between Saint-Aubin and La Rochepot. Extrication is in progress. The firefighters of Nolay, Beaune and Meursault are mobilized.

In Pluvault, rue de la Forge, an accident involving a single vehicle occurred around 8:30 am. The firefighters of Genlis, Auxonne and Saint-Jean-de-Losne are on site.

Finally, on the D903, leaving Is-sur-Tille in the direction of Dijon, a vehicle has finished its course … on the rail separating the tracks. The gendarmes are on site and caution is required if you take this axis.

At 8 am, the traffic conditions remain very complex in a large part of the Côte-d’Or. The most significant difficulties are always noted in the East, in the sectors around Bèze, Fontaine-Française or Montigny-Mornay-Villeneuve-sur-Vingeanne.

However, this works out on the main axes leading to Châtillon-sur-Seine.

7 am: Be very careful on the roads!

This Monday morning, the traffic conditions are considered delicate on the departmental network of Côte-d’Or due to the presence of snow and / or ice on the roadways. Due to the snow, traffic is even ” very difficult ” ‘in the areas around Bèze, Fontaine-Française or Montigny-Mornay-Villeneuve-sur-Vingeanne.

Salting and snow removal operations are underway. Motorists are asked to exercise caution and give priority to winter service vehicles.
