The pitch at the Luis Alfonso Giagni stadium is beginning to show the effects of the marathon series of matches it has hosted in recent months.
Villa Elisa became the epicenter of Paraguayan football with activity for the First Division Cup, Intermediate Division and Paraguay Cupamong others.
In this regard, Rubén Di Tore indicated that the number of games has already left its mark and the ideal thing would be to look for another field.
“Not only the 12 de Junio stadium (Villa Hayes), we are looking at other fields because the Sol de América field is deteriorating,” explained the president of Libertad in conversation with Versus radio.
In the blue coliseum of Villa Elisa, teams such as Olimpia, Tacuary, Libertad, Ameliano and Trinidense, in addition to the home team, have played as home team, only in the Clausura 2024 tournament.
