LaLiga, the body that manages professional football in Spain, announced this Saturday in a statement that it will file a “complaint” against Paris Saint-Germain for its millionaire renewal of Kylian Mbappé, to defend “the economic ecosystem of European football and the sustainability of the same”.
In its statement, LaLiga affirms that the behavior of PSG president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, “is a danger to European football” and that for this reason it is going to “file a complaint against PSG before UEFA, French administrative and tax authorities and before the competent bodies of the European Union”. For months, Mbappé seemed very close to signing for Real Madrid, until this Saturday the news of his renewal until 2025 was known.
