After being part of the squad of the Paraguayan soccer team that played the 2021 Copa América in Brazil, the player Fabián Balbuena has everything on track to sign for his new club.
The signing of the contract that will join him to Dinamo Moscow of the Russian Premier League, would take place this Thursday, July 8, and he will automatically become the highest paid Paraguayan player today.
The “General” will play for Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League, with a multi-million dollar contract. The contractual link would be for a long time (approximately four years) and Spanish media indicated that up to four to five million euros per year would be the defender’s salary.

Fabián Balbuena, a 29-year-old Paraguayan defender, went through clubs like President Franco’s Cerro Porteño, Rubio Ñu, Nacional, Libertad, Brazil’s Corinthians and England’s West Ham.
He was intermediate champion with Cerro de PF, he won the 2014 Clausura with Libertad, the 2017 and 2018 Paulista Championship, as well as the 2017 Brasileirāo with Timāo. He was also vice-champion of the 2014 Copa Libertadores with the “Academia”.
With the Albirroja he played the 2018 and 2022 Qualifiers, also the Copa América 2015, 2016, 2019 and is part of the squad for this Copa América 2021.
