After qualifying in Qatar it became clear that Max Verstappen had to report to the FIA before the race. The Red Bull driver ignored yellow flags during Q3 and was given a five-place grid penalty. Verstappen saw the penalty coming, but there were still plenty of opportunities during the Grand Prix.
