Verstappen is back in control of Bahrain’s FP2 GP

At the Bahrain International Circuit, Friday (26/3/2021), the second free practice session starts at 22.00 WIB. After completing 25 laps in the one hour provided, Verstappen again recorded the best time.

He recorded one fastest lap for 1 minute 30.847 seconds. That’s better than his record time in the first free practice, which is 1 minute 31.394 seconds. Lando Norris (McLaren) followed in second with 1 minute 30.942 seconds.

Lewis Hamilton also improved his timeline. Driving a Mercedes, this British racer recorded a time of 1 minute 31.082 seconds. Carlos Sainz, the new Ferrari racer, climbed to fourth with a time of 1 minute 31.127 seconds.

Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) who was in second place in the first free practice has now slipped to fifth, but his time record improved to 1 minute 31.218 seconds. Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren), Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri), and Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing) completes the top ten.
