Max Verstappen will try to win his third world title in a row in Formula 1 next season. However, the Dutch Red Bull Racing driver is not worried and is still up for a joke. For example, Verstappen is asked who he would contract as drivers, if he were the team boss himself.
Verstappen has been active in the premier class of motorsport for quite some time and in the meantime he has already raced against the necessary other drivers. The Dutch reigning world champion therefore knows very well what kind of meat he has in the tub when it comes to competition. He therefore does not hide his admiration for certain drivers.
The Red Bull Racing driver is therefore asked in conversation with Mobil 1 The Grid which drivers he would contract if he were team boss himself. Verstappen comes with a somewhat expected answer, he chooses his friends: “I would probably go for an experienced driver first, so then I would choose Fernando Alonso. In addition, I would also put a young driver in the car. That would then in this case become Lando Norris.”
