Versace to develop eight luxury villas in Marbella

The Italian luxury house has announced that it is partnering with real estate developer RGZ Developers. Together, they plan to build eight premium residences in the heart of the Nueva Andalucía district in Marbella, Spain.

Eight villas at more than 10 million euros each

The southern Andalusian seaside resort of Marbella is set to welcome the new real estate project of the Italian Versace. A complex of eight villas with ultra-premium amenities and decoration provided by Versace Homethe decoration and lifestyle branch of the fashion house.

Each house built on a plot of 2000 square meters will feature a large garden with trees, a private spa, and several swimming pools. Inside, the brand’s famous motifs – Medusa, Greca and Barocco – will be printed on the armchairs, bedding and even the tableware in the home.

To attract a wealthy public, each property will be equipped with a security system driven by artificial intelligence, assures the developer. A five-star concierge service will also be available, in order to satisfy the slightest desires of this exclusive clientele.

An investment in the real estate segment that is not new for the Italian brand. Already in 2015, Versace presented a project of high-end residences in China, in collaboration with Mind Group. The brand is also responsible for the Damac Tower in Beirut, the Milano Residences in Manila, but also the Palazzo Versace Macau, a huge luxury hotel recently inaugurated in Macau, Asia.

A thriving market that many major houses are investing in. A few months ago, it was Dolce & Gabbana who announced the construction of its luxury tower in Miami. A project imitated by the car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, which will also soon have its tower in this Florida city.

What is the strategy behind these massive investments by luxury houses in the real estate and hotel sectors? The possibility of generating new revenues, of course, but also a way of offering its customers a 360-degree life experience, which goes from the purchase of a Versace garment or accessory to a branded real estate investment.
