Verrell Bramasta was really disappointed with his continuous father, Ferry Irawan. He did not expect his biological mother to become a victim of domestic violence (KDRT).
Like it or not, Verrell Bramasta compared Ferry Irawan’s attitude to that of his biological father, Ivan Fadilla. In the past, he claimed to know the problems his parents faced, but Ivan Fadilla was never rude.
“No (ever played hand), at that time it was a different incident. At that time it was between Papa (Ivan Fadilla) and Mama (Venna Melinda), at that time the problem might have been really serious,” said Verrell Bramasta when met in the Ciganjur area, South Jakarta.
Venna Melinda and Ivan Fadilla’s divorce occurred in 2014. At that time Verrell and Athalla still received attention and affection from their parents.
Verrell Bramasta emphasized that his father had never taught him and showed a violent temper.
“Only what I salute from Papa, no matter how serious the problem is, I have never seen it taught that a man is rude to a woman for whatever reason,” he recalled.
“Since I was little, I have never seen Papa playing with his hands, angry. I have never seen Mama in this condition,” said Verrell Bramasta.
Currently, Ivan Fadilla already has a new family long before Venna Melinda married Ferry Irawan.
While in Japan, it was Ivan Fadilla who calmed Verrell Bramasta not to get carried away by Ferry Irawan’s behavior.
Verrell Bramasta’s feelings were shattered to see his mother bleeding because of Ferry Irawan’s treatment. Upset, angry he must have felt.
Seeing what Ferry Irawan did to Venna Melinda, Verrell Bramasta felt that he wanted to pay back. Luckily Ivan Fadilla, who went with him, gave advice to calm him down.
“That’s a natural feeling right (wanting to beat back), which child can bear to see their mother like that. I’m just saying, I talked to Papa, I think Papa gave very wise input, I think that’s true, what about punching punch, invite a fight. Anyone can, yes, if I want to meet, it immediately hits or is it easy, anyone can fight,” he said.
“It’s just that it’s not important, the most important thing is that mom is done, mom is fine, mom can be happy again, healthy again, and can focus on that first. That business (replying to Ferry Irawan’s actions) will be a matter for later, if it’s okay – what, surely we are ready to put up a body to take care of mom,” said Verrell Bramasta.
