JAKARTA – Actor Verrel Bramasta openly admitted that he was happy to play a role in the wedding ceremony scene which was in the public spotlight. The scene involves Verrel Bramasta in a marriage contract advertisement posted by the National Mandate Party (PAN) and shows him participating in a marriage contract with Zulkifli Hasan’s daughter.
At first, many believed that Verrel and Zulkifli Hasan’s daughter were really married, considering the viral videos and photos of the event. However, it turned out that the marriage was only part of PAN’s promotional strategy ahead of the general election (Pemilu). Scroll further, OK?
Eko Patrio, who acted as director in the advertising project, explained that Verrel Bramasta was very enthusiastic and welcomed the content concept.
“Verrell who was there was really welcoming. He said ‘it’s exciting, it’s really exciting, it’s really funny’, the daughters are the same, so the important thing is that everyone is supportive,” said Eko Patrio when met on Saturday, January 20 2024 in the South Jakarta area.
Even though the video and photos raise assumptions about the true relationship between Verrel and Zulkifli Hasan’s daughter, Eko Patrio emphasized that he does not want to interfere in the personal affairs of the two of them. He only confirmed that the two of them currently don’t have a partner.
“Yes, if it’s really suitable or not suitable, I’ll return it to them, right? They know,” said Eko.
“Everything definitely has its pros and cons as long as the gimmick doesn’t harm other people and those who are invited are welcomed, all viewers at home are happy and it goes viral, meaning it is accepted by the public,” he continued.

The General Chair of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan, also provided clarification regarding the video. According to him, the video is a form of declaration of PAN’s commitment and dedication to the Indonesian people.
“We consider this event as a declaration of our commitment, our dedication, in other words, making the Indonesian people our number one priority,” said Zulkifli Hasan.
