On the occasion of the Festival Foire en Scène, Véronique Sanson gave an interview to Femme Today. If the famous singer had made an appearance in the tenth season of The Voice, she nevertheless violently criticized the tele-hook.
She is not a fan of tele-hook! While she gave an interview to Current wife, Véronique Sanson agreed to confide in what she liked to do when she was not on stage. She thus revealed: “I love doing crossword puzzles on my bed, going for walks, reading, watching series … I finished a great series, The Handmaid’s Tale. I also watch stupid series, anything that can put me to sleep. I put a lot of France 5 and France 3, when they pass reports or documentaries.“However, the singer does not carry in her heart the famous tele-hook of TF1.”I don’t really like shows like The Voice, when my mate Vianney is on the jury. I don’t understand how you can judge people. It dismays me! If I was asked, I could never accept. Who am I to judge?“she said.
In the tenth season of The Voice, Véronique Sanson had however come to lend a hand to Vianney by working with her talents. For TV-Leisure, the singer had revealed: “Véronique had a magnificent concern which did not surprise me on her part. To be honest, I had a bit of the same before embarking on this adventure. She didn’t want to be a judge. I reassured her by telling her that this was just not what we were asked to be. That we were asked to make music. So I promised him to only make music, to be around a piano. I presented it to him ‘like a recording session in the studio’ and that’s what made him want to live this experience.“Finally, Vianney had unveiled:”In the studio, it is a rare requirement. This could only bring a lot to the talents. She was there to seek with me, with the talents that we had in front of us, solutions to improve their interpretation. She was not there as a judge to say ‘this is good, this is not good’. It’s something that she’s been doing for decades so it just happened quite naturally in the end.“

A few months earlier, it was in the columns of TV 7 Days that Véronique Sanson had confided about her participation in The Voice. She then explained: “I never imagined having the necessary credentials to participate in this program. But it made me very happy, I got involved 100% and it was one of the happiest moments of my life!“Close to Vianney, the star had assured:”He is a wonderful, humble and generous human being. He is extraordinary in The Voice! Like him, I wanted to give the Talents tips, to help them, to tell them, to some perhaps, very nicely: ‘You are not made for this job …’ I am a very educator.“
