Former Slovak skier Veronika Velez-Zuzulová will be part of the team of the Czech national team Martina Dubovská in the new season.

Thirty-year-old Dubovská specializes in slalom, so far she achieved the best result in the World Cup in November 2021 in Levi, Finland, where she finished sixth. At the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, she finished 13th in slalom. She has been representing the Czech Republic since she was a junior, but she grew up and still lives in Liptovský Mikuláš.

“Let me introduce my team to you for the new season. We have the first camp behind us,” Dubovská wrote on Instagram, where she added a photo with Velez-Zuzulová. Slovak coach Andrej Prevuzňák also continues in her team.

Velez-Zuzulová is a former long-term representative of the Slovak Republic in alpine skiing. During her career, she has won five World Cup races – four in slalom and once in parallel slalom. He has a total of 30 podium places in the prestigious series. She finished second and twice third in the overall seasonal slalom classification. From the World Cup he has silver from the team competition from St. Moritz 2017.
