Veronika Žilková, now Stropnická, spent a lot of time commuting between the Czech Republic and Israel, where her husband Martin Stropnický works as a diplomat. Surprisingly, she doesn’t like traveling!
It will be a surprise for many, but Veronika Stropnická really doesn’t like to travel! Despite this, she also made a travelogue in Israel, for which she created a screenplay and even directed it herself.
“Israel thrilled me. I felt I had to send a message to the Czech Republic about how beautiful and safe Israel is. So I traveled the country for a year and prepared a travelogue.” she said Radio.
In the final, she also had to moderate the travelogue herself. However, she originally wrote it for Pavel Kříž.
“I thought my role would only be to make sure the pigeons took off at the right time. But fate wanted it differently, and I’m glad for that. I can show that even a woman in her early sixties they don’t have to worry about new experiences, “she said.
