The Minister of Health, Veronica Casado, will meet this afternoon with the mayor of Palencia, Mario Simon, to see the measures to be adopted in the municipality after the bad data that continue to be confirmed every day. If already last week the evolution of the pandemic was concerned, the continuous increase in cases forces take action beyond the closure of playgrounds and exercise areas for the elderly.
Last week the Health Department already warned of the bad situation in Palencia, the continuous increase in cases as well as the increase in healthcare pressure or the closure of classrooms in six schools, forcing us to adopt more measures to help stop the expansion of the Covid-19. The measures would be very similar to those ordered in Salamanca and Valladolid to stop contagion.
