According to a reputable industry insider, a remake of Resident Evil – Code: Veronica can still come out, but only if fans continue to ask for it. A glimmer of hope for fans of Resident Evil comes from the famous insider Dusk Golem, who has been at the forefront of recent rumors about Resident Evil over the past few weeks.
An industry insider noted that if you want Capcom to remake the game, keep asking for it because after the release of Resident Evil 8 (reportedly) next year, the team will have to switch to a new project, and there is reason to believe that it might be another Resident Evil project.
An insider claims that Capcom – unlike some developers – really listens to fans’ feedback, and therefore they probably hear requests that Resident Evil – Code: Veronica get the same remake as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.
First, let me tell you, if you want to receive a Code Veronica remake, let your voices be heard, try voicing it for Capcom, the insider said. After Resident Evil 8 is completed, these people will have to be involved in another project, I really know that Capcom listens to fans more than most think, and after Resident Evil 8 I think that this will be the most likely time for Code Veronica get to the desktop if Capcom considers that there is interest.
