Meerbusch – Her fans love Verona Pooth for not taking herself too seriously. The 52-year-old regularly entertains her Instagram followers with funny pictures or takes her fans behind the scenes. Pooth has a proud 600,000 followers on the social media platform, all of whom were recently surprised by a strange picture. Her latest Instagram photo shows the otherwise elegant Verona in a completely different look – with a dark beard! Whether the beard was painted on or simply added using a filter cannot be seen at first glance. In the picture, the TV star is wearing a summer dress, her hair and make-up also look professionally prepared. The beard not only contrasts her chic outfit, but also reminds her fans of another celebrity.
One user comments on her post that she looks suspiciously similar to Conchita Wurst, another fan even calls her “Verona Wurst”. “The Masked Singer” star Ruth Moschner agrees and marks the Austrian artist right below the photo. Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 with the hit “Rise like a Phoenix”. Verona with a beard is not only very similar to Conchita, but also to Riccardo Simonetti. The entertainer sees it the same way and wrote under the picture that he and Verona would now look even more similar.

Verona seems to like the new look, but how do their fans find the beard? The TV star asked her followers in her Instagram story whether they prefer the photo with or without a beard. Your fans apparently had a clear opinion, as 72% voted “No” to the poll. Fortunately, in the next clip, the TV star presented herself without a beard as usual and posed in her doorway. Whether Verona is really thinking about a type change is questionable, but at least she was able to inspire 28% of her followers for the new look with a beard – she has also found several prominent doppelgangers …
