For the second year in a row Monza conquers Verona (0-3) and collects three precious points which allow them to leave Venezia in the uncomfortable last place in the standings. A success, Nesta’s first in Serie A, scored by Dany Mota who, after being the protagonist of the equalizer against Roma, took over the scene by scoring a double. Verona, frozen cold by the Portuguese’s initial goal, did not have the clarity and precision to straighten out the match and in the final they were naively surprised by two long throws from Turati, extended by the always useful Djuric.

Monza broke the deadlock with a gem from Dany Mota
Monza, forced to give up Daniel Maldini at the last minute, appeared from the 1st minute with Dany Mota in the attacking trident with Caprari and Djuric and the Portuguese immediately repeated himself with the first useful ball (7′): on a pitch from the Caprari’s three-quarters coordinated perfectly and with a splendid right-footed volley diagonally from the edge of the box he put Montipò into the opposite corner.
