Banner on the Bentegodi fence: “Sport does not erase the smell”. The note of the activists: “He kills for fun, he has obtained licenses to kill the rarest animals, including a lion”
The banner is eloquent and it is not exactly a welcome: “Ibra kills animals. Sport does not erase the smell. Signed: “CentoPerCento Animalisti”, a group of militants dedicated to the cause of animals. The cloth – black writing on a white background – was hung last night on the external fence of the Bentegodi stadium, where Verona-Milan will be staged tomorrow evening. The reason? Simple, the fact that the Swede is a declared hunter, one who goes both hunting and fishing in Sweden.

Controversy
—
“Ibrahimovic – reports a note from the association – obtained licenses to kill the rarest animals, including a lion, bought an island on the Baltic to transform it into his exclusive reserve. Killing is her greatest enjoyment, accompanied by his wife, who is also a hunter. Ibra is a subject who kills sentient beings for fun, which cannot be defended. Many football fans don’t know it or have forgotten it, so we took care of remembering it ”. The lion controversy – and it was quite ferocious – came out last year after a report by the Swedish newspaper “Expressen” which reported Zlatan’s killing of a lion in South Africa in 2011. According to the reconstruction, there was a list of 82 Swedish hunters who brought some remains of the animal to Sweden, including Ibra, who had parts of the animal’s skin, skull and jaw sent to his home in Malmo.
