Verona achieved an important victory over Bologna, yesterday, Friday, in the 31st round of the Italian League, at the “Marc Antonio Bentegudi” stadium, with two goals scored by Simone Verdi.
The match ended with Verona’s victory over Bologna, 2-1, so that coach Marco Zavaroni’s team continues to pursue Spezia in the standings, which ranks 17th, while Verona comes behind it on goal difference, with a lesser match for Spezia.
Verdi scored Verona’s two goals in the two minutes (45 + 6 and 62), while Nicolas Dominguez narrowed the difference in favor of Bologna (90 + 4).
With this result, Verona raised its score to 26 points in 18th place, while Bologna’s balance froze at 44 points in eighth place.
