The renowned vernacular singer, Flor Sheiza Quispe Sucapuca, 23 years old and known in the artistic world as ‘Muñequita Milly’, will receive a Christian burial today in the general cemetery of the city of Juliaca.
According to the relatives of the talented musical performer, the funeral activities will begin at approximately 10 in the morning with a posthumous tribute by family members, fellow artists and followers and then begin the transfer of the remains to the cemetery to say goodbye.
The remains of the young singer arrived at the Inca Manco Cápac airport in Juliaca yesterday, Friday, April 5, around one thirty in the afternoon, where they were received by family, friends and followers of the singer.
The coffin was then transferred to his home at Avenida República number 588 in the district of San Miguel, province of San Román. The transfer lasted approximately two hours until we reached her home, where a crowd of singers, friends and followers of the artist gathered.
During the transfer of the singer’s body, a stop was made in the district municipality of San Miguel, where Mayor Cristin Nicolás Mamani Mamani awarded a medal from the city to the couple and relatives of the deceased Muñequita Milly, in recognition for their contribution to vernacular music.
The coffin of ‘Muñequita Milly’ was received with honors by her fellow musicians, who accompanied her in her performances and shared the stage with her throughout her successful artistic career. In addition, a considerable number of police officers were observed on the route, who guaranteed the safety of those attending.
During the night and part of the early morning of this Saturday, his fellow artists offered a musical presentation at the place of the wake along with family, friends and followers, paying tribute and offering their condolences to the family.
Although it was initially reported that the body would be transferred to its native place in the district of Yanahuaya, province of Sandía, it has now been confirmed that it will receive its last farewell in the general cemetery of Juliaca.
