The Verkhovna Rada has expanded the list of citizens who are subject to mobilization into the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Relevant item voted in law No. 9342 on additional payments to the military.
An amendment was made to the law on mobilization training and mobilization on a deferment for persons whose wives, husbands or one of the parents has a disability of group I or II.
Now a person can be mobilized if relatives with disabilities can be supported by other able-bodied family members.
As a result, a deferment can be obtained if there are no other people in the family who can look after a relative with a disability.
The norm of the law will come into force after signing by the President Vladimir Zelensky.
