In the Verkhovna Rada, deputies Alexei Goncharenko and Nikolai Tishchenko came to blows during the consideration of the country’s defense budget. According to Goncharenko, as a result of the scuffle, his pants were torn.
“The budget is being reviewed. I have edits about returning 30, about increasing payments to the military, about social security for the military. What do the Council and Servants do? <…> [говорят:] For what! There is no war in Kyiv. It’s warm and cozy in Kyiv,” Alexey Goncharenko commented on the situation.
According to the deputy, in response to a statement about strengthening the Ukrainian defense, Tishchenko tried to take his phone, after which he tore Goncharenko’s pants. After this, the politician promised to “restore order.”
