Verini, Crosetto-Mantovano clarifications leave serious shadow

(ANSA) – UMBERTIDE (PERUGIA), 14 SEPTEMBER – “The disturbing Striano-Laudati affair is enriched with new chapters, such as the one related to phrases that Minister Crosetto pronounced in front of Prosecutor Cantone criticizing the work of Aise in the relationship with the top brass of the Defense itself. His clarifications and those of Mantovano do not clarify anything and leave a serious shadow for which it is right that the Copasir be activated”: Walter Verini, leader of the Democratic Party in the Anti-Mafia Commission comments on the latest developments in the affair in response to ANSA. He does so in Umbertide on the sidelines of the participation of secretary Elly Schlein in the Unità festival. “As far as we are concerned – Verini continued -, in the Presidency Office of the Anti-Mafia Commission we had proposed to also examine this thread in depth during the hearing. For the rest, in the caravan of illegal accesses of Striano-Laudati, in the myriad of interested subjects of the most diverse kinds (some even improbable) we continue not to glimpse the thread of that ‘plot’ agitated several times in recent days by exponents and newspapers of the right. To whom, also in light of this clash and these controversies, it is worth suggesting, if they really continue to glimpse conspiracies, to look into their environments and little environments”. (ANSA).
