Verdict against social giants: Facebook wants to delete this photo – Bremen

Bremen – Judgment in the trial of the journalist and human rights activist Tobias Huch (39) against “Facebook Ireland Limited”!

The district court agreed with the Bremen resident on most points, prohibiting Facebook from deleting three posts on its Instagram service.

Huch used it to document his work. Facebook said that the human rights activist, of all people, would support ISIS and threatened to block his Instagram account.

Huch went to court. In one case, however, the judges agreed with Facebook. It’s about a photo in which IS fighters are cheering and stretching their arms and arms up.

It was created after they conquered the Kurdish city of Afrin. This photo was rightly removed, the court ruled. Reason: “It violates community standards because it supports and glorifies terrorist organizations.”

Um auf der ganzen Linie zu gewinnen, zieht Tobias Huch (39) nun mit seinem Rechtsanwalt Joachim Steinhöfel (58) vor das OLGPhoto: Verena Hornung-“data-zoom-src =” https://bilder.bild.de/fotos/um-auf-der-ganzen-linie-zu-gewinnen-sehen-tobias-huch-39-nun-mit-seinem-rechtsanwalt- joachim-stein-536d735a56d44a28b1df9dfabcaeb58c-75490914 / image / 2.image.jpg “/>

Huch’s lawyer Joachim Steinhöfel (58): “This interference with the freedom of the press is not acceptable! We appeal to the OLG Bremen! There are so many direct contradictions that are seldom found in a judgment! “
