Verdi justified the strike by saying that the employer had not submitted a constructive offer. However, according to “Cinemaxx”, cinema operations continue.

From now on until the end of the day, the employees of the Bremen cinema should stop working. According to Verdi, the reason for this is that the employer did not submit a constructive offer in the third round of negotiations. Verdi is calling for a minimum wage of 14 euros and that allowances for more responsible jobs be increased.

In response to buten’s request, the cinema informed us that cinema operations should continue as usual despite the call for a strike. The company asks for your understanding if there are any longer waiting times at the entrance or in the catering area.
