Recognition by the ANSES (French National Agency for Food Safety and the Environment) of France, as the first product to obtain the nitrogen volatilization protection declaration and its consequent marketing authorization (AMM) in that country , support the quality and safety of the products that Verdesian Life Sciences markets in Argentina and the world.
Now, Verdesian Nue Charge has two recognized and validated statements: “Limitation of nitrogen loss by volatilization” and “Improvement of nitrogen availability for the plant”, which guarantee an optimization of the investment made by the producer at the time of fertilization, both in the treatment of fertilizers and in the treatment of seeds.
“This is an important regulatory achievement, not only for Verdesian Life Sciences, but for the farmers of our country and all the markets where we sell our products,” said Sergio Melloni, CEO of Verdesian Life Sciences in Latin America. “The loss of nitrogen is a very real and significant problem for farmers around the world, so the possibility that Argentine producers have access to a product like this, which reduces N losses due to volatilization, means a greater yield, increased crop production and less environmental impact.”
Verdesian polymer technologies that enhance nitrogenous fertilizers leaving more Nitrogen available for plant uptake allowing increased yields, to date, have been successfully applied on more than 29 million hectares worldwide, exceeding more than 1.5 million ha of treated fertilizer applied in Argentina through 25 treatment centers, providing an improvement in yield of +8% kg/ha on average in the different crops and showing an internal rate of return between 19 to 1 for growing corn.
