Given the above, he stressed that the schools that returned to the classrooms on January 3, have to close the campuses if a contagion is detected among the students, teaching or administrative staff.
Likewise, he pointed out that this decision, to suspend face-to-face classes, must be made by the teaching group and parents and “make it known to the educational authority.”
Callejas Roldán mentioned that, for her, the return to the classroom should take place at a time when infections begin to decrease, since it is about the right to life and health.
“Measures will have to be taken, in schools where there are infections, the online educational system will have to be used,” he said.
At the same time, he asked the schools where there have been no infections to maintain strict sanitary measures to prevent the disease from being contracted in schools.
Due to the above, he also asked parents to implement health protocols from home, so that the child or adolescent is protected from the moment they leave home.
It should be remembered that in Veracruz the anti-COVID-19 vaccine has already been applied to adolescents between 15 and 17 years of age, while reinforcement is being prepared for all teachers in the state.
