Channel “1+1 Ukraine“cut the ex-singer’s performance from his broadcast Vera Brezhnevaand now performers VERAin the New Year’s concert “Music Platform”.

This concert was broadcast on the channel on New Year’s Eve, December 31 and January 1. Let us note that VERA took part during the filming in the October Palace. The artist sang her Ukrainian-language song “Dyakuyu”. However, this speech was not allowed to air:

However, after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, the artist left the invader country, volunteered in Poland, and helped Ukrainians. The singer also changed her stage name Vera Brezhneva to VERA and even divorced composer Konstantin Meladze, silent about the war in Ukraine. The artist also began writing songs exclusively in Ukrainian.
