Date notice for November 10, 2021: Nationwide bank action day – Commerzbank and ComTS are on strike for 24 hours

Ladies and gentlemen,

Dear Colleagues,

For tomorrow, Wednesday, the United Services Union (ver.di) is calling on the bank employees of Commerzbank and its subsidiary ComTS to go on strike and nationwide day of action. The reason for this is the stalled wage negotiations with the employers’ association of the private banking sector. The strike action begins at midnight and ends at midnight.

In addition to nationwide virtual campaigns, in which employees working from home can also take part, employees at the ComTS locations in Hamm/Westphalia, Duisburg, Erfurt and Halle/Saale are being called on to go on a one-day warning strike. Demonstrations and strike rallies take place in Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main.
