Korea & Company Group’s global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology‘Lamborghini Super Trofeo’, a racing competition hosted by Automobili Lamborghini SpA, an Italian supercar brand to which (CEO Soo-il Lee, hereinafter referred to as Hankook Tire) exclusively supplies racing tires, was held from November 16th to 17th. The 2024 season was successfully concluded with the World Finals held on Sunday (local time). Finished.
This World Finals competition, held at the ‘JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA’ circuit in Spain, brought together participants from the ‘Lamborghini Super Trofeo’ Europe, North America, and Asia series, which ran from March to November this year, to start the season. As a place to compete for the championship title, it received great attention from global motorsports fans.
Hankook Tire’s high-performance racing tire ‘Ventus’ demonstrated its top-level racing tire technology once again by demonstrating perfect harmony with the ‘Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo 2’ vehicle in this competition. Continuing from last year, ‘Ventus’ supported the successful operation of the competition by demonstrating excellent grip and handling performance in various climates and extreme driving environments in various countries around the world throughout this season.
As a result of two days of intense racing, world champions were born in a total of four categories. In the ‘Pro’ category, ART-Line’s Egor Orudzhev won the championship. After a fierce battle, Yegor Oruzev beat prominent competitors and was crowned world champion.
In addition, in the ‘Pro Amateur’ category, the Leipert Motorsport team took first place in both races and won the championship title, and in the ‘Amateur’ category, the Renault Coupan of Boutsen VDS (Renaud Kuppens), and in the ‘Lamborghini Cup’ category, Holger Harmsen of GT3 Poland. Each won the championship.
Meanwhile, Hankook Tire plans to continue the success of the competition with ‘Ventus’ in the 2025 season. Starting with the U.S. competition in March next year, competitions will be held in major countries on continents around the world, including Europe, Asia, and North America, and the premium brand status of the global brand ‘Hankook’ will be further strengthened.
