The Latvian vice-champion in basketball “Ventspils” has supplemented the team with the American defender Larry Thomas, the unit informs.
Last season, 27-year-old Thomas Thorl became Iceland’s champion. The American basketball player scored an average of 20.3 points per game, returned 5.6 assists and won 5.3 rebounds.

Prior to that, Thomas represented other Icelandic teams.
“Ventspils” team won silver in LBL last season, but in the combined championship “play-off” did not overcome the barrier of the quarterfinals.
