Venom: Let There Be Carnage is experiencing a new postponement with its new release date which is set for October 15, instead of September 24. At least that concerns the United States. It is likely that nothing will change for France.
The reason for the postponement of Venom: Let There Be Carnage in the cinema is quite obvious: it is linked to Covid-19 and the increase in the number of cases, in particular because of the delta variant. This naturally has an impact on cinemas, so much so that some moviegoers say they are not totally comfortable with the idea of going to a cinema. According to a recent survey conducted by the National Research Group, 67% of American moviegoers say they are “Very or somewhat comfortable” in their local multiplex, which is a decrease of 3% from last week and 14% from the previous month.
So there is a postponement to October 15 for the new movie with Venom, but why France probably won’t be affected? Because the movie already has an October 20 release date with us, and has been for a while now. We can therefore imagine that she will stay. But everything will depend on the health situation.
Here is the synopsis of the film:
About a year after facing Riot, Eddie Brock still “cohabits” with the Venom symbiote. Eddie tries to revive his career as an investigative journalist. He then goes to prison to interview serial killer Cletus Kasady. He is unaware that the latter is also the host of a symbiote, Carnage.
