Venna Melinda, who was a victim of domestic violence by her own husband, admitted that she was sorry. She admitted that she regretted being the fourth wife married to Ferry Irawan.
“I am the 4th woman who married (married to Ferry Irawan). Recognition of the previous wife, the third also told me about it before marriage, but I didn’t pay attention,” he said after the additional BAP at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters, Thursday (12/1/2023).
Venna even admits that she once loved Ferry with all her flaws. Including Ferry’s abusive behavior not only verbally, but also physically.
“And I love Ferry in terms of work and illness, verbally abusive behavior, (even) slamming things, and slamming my wife. For me now I have got justice and (will) continue to fight,” he said.
During at least the last 5 months of her marriage to Ferry, Venna had a desire that she was not the only one working in the household.
“I don’t want only me to work. I’m also looking for justice and I don’t want any women out there to experience this,” she said.
All that’s left for Venna now is regret. Since having a relationship with Ferry until they finally got married in Bali, Venna thought that Ferry could change.
I think his past didn’t make me back down (to get married) at that time,” he said.
Today Venna Melinda underwent an additional BAP in the East Java Police Ditreskrimum investigator room. He underwent the inspection process or the additional inspection report (BAP) for more than 3 hours.
Venna came out of the Ditreskrimum building, still accompanied by her legal adviser Hotman Paris. When the process was still ongoing, the East Java Regional Police announced that Ferry Irawan, who was reported by Venna for alleged domestic violence, had become a suspect.
