Venezuelan government attacks Guaidó: It is a kind of puppet of Donald Trump

The Government of Venezuela stated this Saturday that the opposition leader Juan Guaidó it is “a kind of puppet“directed by Leopoldo López and by the Donald Trump administration.

The Vice President of Communication, Jorge RodríguezHe said that Guaidó “may have been wanted because he is willing to commit the outrages that occur to Leopoldo López, John Bolton (former Trump security adviser) (…) like a kind of marionette that moves according to the designs of those who pull the strings “.

In addition, he stated that Guaidó, self-proclaimed as interim president of Venezuela, “he is very scarce of ideas, of very precarious thought“.

“Guaidó was anointed by its owner, its owners. Its co-owner is Leopoldo López and the other owner is Donald Trump,” said the minister, adding that it is “an instrument of the most far-right factors of the Trump Administration“.

Rodríguez remarked on several occasions that López, leader of the Popular Will (VP) party, is the one who has power over Guaidó and the one who handles the threads from the residence of the Spanish ambassador to Venezuela, Jesús Silva, where is staying after fleeing the house arrest he was in on April 30, 2019.

The political formation VP is the party that served as a platform for Guaidó to launch the first line of Venezuelan politics, but he left the militancy earlier this year.

The minister also accused Guaidó and López of targeting “steal all the money“from the accounts and assets of Venezuela abroad, as well as”seize power by violent means and leave a bloodbath along the way“.

The guest at the Spanish embassy

Rodríguez questioned the ambassador and the Government of Spain for having Leopoldo López as guest, “when it has already been shown that does not have any kind of democratic exercise“.

López was under house arrest until last April 30, after a failed uprising against President Nicolás Maduro, he sought refuge in the Spanish Embassy in Venezuela, where he entered a day later.

The Chavista official questioned whether the Government of Spain knows that López is pulling the strings of the opposition from the diplomatic headquarters through videoconferences, with the order to attack the Venezuelan Executive, although it did not offer evidence of these accusations.
