Venezuela has registered 57 new infections in the past 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, a total of 57 cases of COVID-19 infections have been detected, 54 due to community transmission and three imported cases, bringing the accumulated confirmed cases to 543,930, 1,661 active cases, while the number of recovered places 536 thousand 460 patients , thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced Wednesday by the vice president of communication, culture and tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily budget offered by the Presidential Commission for the control and prevention of COVID-19, through his online social Twitter account, @luchaalmada.

He reported that community cases are found in the states: Zulia (11), Bolívar (11), Yaracuy (8), Caracas (8), Miranda (6), among others shown below:

Zulia is the state that records the highest number of new community cases (11), with active infections in three of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo (7), San Francisco (3), Jesús Enrique Lossada (1).

There are three imported cases, two women and one man from Panama and Türkiye with entry from La Guaira.

To date we have 921 asymptomatic patients, 585 with mild acute respiratory failure, 125 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 30 in intensive care.

This Wednesday there are no deaths in our country, we keep the figure of 5,809 throughout the national territory.

In week 131 and day 913 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are his general statistics:

– Total infections: 543 thousand 930.

– Patients recovered: 536 thousand 460 (99%).

– Current active cases: 1.661.

– Total deaths: five thousand 809.
