Venezuela condemns interference in its elections

Caracas. The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects, in the strongest terms, the rude and insolent statement from the governments of Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, who, emulating the disastrous, failed and defeated Lima Group, intend to continue violating international law by committing an unacceptable act of interference in matters that only concern Venezuelans.the Venezuelan government ruled yesterday.

The statement stems from the international rejection that arose after the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) validated the results of the elections in which Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro emerged as the winner.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil stressed that with this stance, the aforementioned governments “become complicit in the criminal violence that attacked health centers, schools, universities, transportation, national symbols and that left a balance of murders and injuries caused by transnational criminal gangs hired for this purpose.

Venezuela demands absolute respect for its sovereignty and independence, won after intense struggles against the most hostile empires that insist on getting their hands on natural resources that do not belong to them and are trying to impose today, once again, a policy of regime change typical of the coups d’état that the US empire has promoted in Latin America and the Caribbean for more than 100 years.the letter adds.

Once again they are trying to impose a puppet government

“Just as the people of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez pulverized the attacks of the deceased Lima Group and its attempt to impose a puppet government in the past, through the failed adventure of Juan Guaidó, on this occasion they will pulverize each and every one of the actions that they try to initiate through their failed governments against the Venezuelan people.

History has shown that the fate that awaits those who dare to go against the dignity of the Bolivarian people is nothing more than international contempt and shame, as has been immortalized in the popular tale: Whoever messes with Venezuela, dries up!the document concludes.

The Brazilian government explained that it did not sign the statement for not agreeing with the tone and content of the text. Brazil added that it is one of the only countries that still dialogues with both sides of Venezuelan politics and must remain firm in its demand for transparencyindicated sources from the Brazilian Foreign Ministry consulted by the G1 portal.

Meanwhile, Spain and the European Union (EU) said they will not recognize Maduro’s victory until the minutes of the election are published. in an integral manner and the result may be verifiable.

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, stated that Europe will not recognize Maduro’s victory, despite the recent ruling by the TSJ declaring him re-elected, since We have not seen any evidence. As long as the results are not verifiable, there will be no recognition of them.said Borrell, who reported that work is underway to have the 27 establish a position in this regard.

The United Nations (UN) called on the Venezuelan authorities complete transparencywhile the Organization of American States (OAS) rejected in fact the ruling of the TSJ.

The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) joined the questions and called for the restoration the democratic order in the country and the rule of law.

The IACHR has questioned the validity and integrity of the ruling, which he considers to be outside the jurisdiction of the TSJ. In this regard, he regretted on social media that it intends to validate the data of the National Electoral Council (CNE) without publishing the official records.

The leaders of Cuba and Nicaragua, Miguel Díaz-Canel and Daniel Ortega, respectively, congratulated Maduro.

In this context, the prosecution will summon opposition leader Edmundo González to testify as part of a criminal investigation against him for his responsibility in publishing election results on a website.

You have to come to this appointmentsaid the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, in an appearance before the media to complement the investigations opened against him for various crimes, since he is accused of disobedience y usurpation of functions.

Saab pointed out that the publication of election results could constitute a crime and accused González of usurp the powers of the CNE. In this sense, he reproached him for now questioning institutions that he did consider hello good to run as a candidate.

Gonzalez, published in X that In the face of the attack against our freedoms and popular sovereignty, I call on all Venezuelans to unite in their defense, because what is at stake is no small thing.the opponent warned.
